بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah - we have reached 1087 page view (as at 31 July 2012 @ 2340 hours) so far since we've started this blogsite 2 weeks ago. So far most of our viewers are from America, Malaysia, Pakistan and Russia. We also have viewers from France, South Korea and Germany. Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah. We would like to thank all the readers for visiting our blog and we hope all the information we have published on this site benefits to all our readers.

The establishment of our company is not merely only for business, da'wah is one of our top priorities. We also would like to give an opportunity to every ummah to participate in our mission. That Da'wah is an obligation to every Muslims we hope, we could trigger new ideas to the ummah and encourage them in doing da'wah to mankind regardless wherever they are.

We would like the reader to know that currently our team is quite busy with the registration of our company. Insya Allah this it will be done by this week. As much as we want this blog to be updated from time to time, after all we all are only human beings we can't do anything that is beyond our limits. Verily man is always in loss (Surah Al Asr, Verse 2)

As long as we know our capabilities, we strive for our best. So far we are not able to put up our products yet, and we're still working on it. Trying our best to get it done as soon as possible. With all paper works need to be done, it takes time . . but we believe Insya Allah sooner than later we will be able to introduce our products to public.

Mightee Da'wah Project & Revival of Sunnah campaign will be our first of many projects. We expect to kick start both projects before mid-August 2012, Insya Allah. At the same time we are working on articles to be published from time to time. We are also working on our official website, but since our knowledge in web design is very limited (we need to get help from external party) it caused a little setback. But again Insya Allah it will be ready before year 2013. So far we will be updating all our stories, articles, works, events, and products via this blog.

We welcome your comments, ideas and also critics in order for us to improve. Anybody who would like to contribute i.e articles etc, you're most welcome. The concept of Oummati is simple, we want to connect with the ummah, to grow togetherness and the spirit of ummah. This is why we choose the name Oummati - Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) repeated 3 times 'Ummati, Ummati, Ummati,' calling on his ummah. The name is aligned with our mission and objectives that is to provide solutions, necessity, tools for da'wah and of course building strong networks within the Muslim Ummah.

Again, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal readers for bearing with us. Insya Allah we will keep you updated from time to time with our products, news and articles. Don't forget to suggest us to your family, relatives and friends regardless of their religion. Insya Allah we can lead to them to the route of Islam. We really appreciate your supports and your patience for bearing with us. May Allah make it easy for us to work on His path.

Till then, Salamun Alaykom Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Keep It Halal

The Appearance of Gog and Magog by Imam Ibn Kathir

From "The Signs Before the Day of Judgement"
Based on ibn Katheer's "Al-Bidaayah wa'l-Nihaayah" (The Beginning and the End)
© Taqwa

They (two tribes or peoples) will appear at the time of Jesus son of Mary, after the Dajjaal. Allah will destroy them all in one night, in response to the supplication of Jesus.

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (S) said, "Every day, Gog and Magog are trying to dig a way out through the barrier. When they begin to see sunlight through it, the one who is in charge of them says, 'Go back; you can carry on digging tomorrow,' and when they come back, the barrier is stronger than it was before. This will continue until their time comes and Allah wishes to send them forth. They will dig until they begin to see sunlight, then the one who is in charge of them will say, 'Go back; you can carry on digging tomorrow, in shaa'Allah.' In this case he will make an exception by saying in shaa'Allah, thus relating the matter to the Will of Allah. They will return on the following day, and find the hole as they left it. They will carry on digging and come out against the people. They will drink all the water, and find the hole as they left it, and the people will entrench themselves in their fortresses. Gog and Magog will fire their arrows into the sky, and they will fall back to earth with something like blood on them. Gog and Magog will say, 'We have defeated the people of earth, and overcome the people of heaven.' Then Allah will send a kind of worm in the napes of their nacks, and they will be killed by it...'By Him a in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the beasts of the earth will become fat.'" [Tirmidhee, Abwaab al-Tafseer: Surat al-Kahf (Hadith 5160), 8/597-99; Ibn Maajah, Kitaab al-Fitan, (Hadith 4080), 2/1364. Ahmad, Musnad, 2/510, 511.]

Gog and Magog are two groups of Turks, descended from Yaafith (Japheth), the father of the Turks, one of the sons of Noah. At the time of Abraham (AS), there was a king called Dhoo'l-Qarnayn. He performed Tawaaf around the Ka'bah with Abraham (AS) when he first built it; he believed and followed him. Dhoo'l-Qarnayn was a good man and a great king; Allah gave him great power and he ruled the east and west. He held sway over all kings and countries, and travelled far and wide in both east and west. He travelled eastwards until he reached a pass between two mountains, through which people were coming out. They did not understand anything, because they were so isolated; they were Gog and Magog. They were spreading corruption through the earth, and harming the people, so the people sought help from Dhoo'l-Qarnayn. They asked him to build a barrier between them and Gog and Magog. He asked them to him to build it, so together they built a barrier by mixing iron, copper and tar.

Thus Dhoo'l-Qarnayn restrained Gog and Magog behind the barrier. They tried to penetrate the barrier, or to climb over it, but to no avail. They could not succeed because the barrier is so huge and smooth. They began to dig, and they have been digging for centuries; they will continue to do so until the time when Allah decrees that they come out. At that time the barrier will collapse, and Gog and Magog will rush out in all directions, spreading corruption, uprooting plants, killing people. When Jesus (AS) prays against them, Allah will send a kind of work in the napes of their necks, and they will be killed by it.

Antoher relevant hadeeth:

-"Ibn Mas'ood reported that the Prophet (S) said, "On the night of the Israa' (night journey), I met my father Abraham, Moses and Jesus, and they discussed the Hour. The matter was referred first to Abraham, then to Moses, and both said, 'I have no knowledge of it'. Then it was referred to Jesus, who said, 'No one knows about its timing except Allah; what my Lord told me was that the Dajjaal will appear, and when he sees me he will begin to melt like lead. Allah will destroy him when he sees me. The Muslims will fight against the Kaafirs, and even the trees and rocks will say, "O Muslim, there is a Kaafir hiding beneath me - come and kill him!" Allah will destroy the Kaafirs, and the people will return to their lands. Then Gog and Magog will appear from all directions, eating and drinking everything they found. The people will complain to me, so I will pray to Allah and He will destroy them, so that the earth will be filled with their stench. Allah will send rain which will wash their bodies into the sea. My Lord has told me that when that happens, the HOUR WILL BE VERY CLOSE, LIKE A PREGNANT WOMAN WHOSE TIME IS DUE, BUT HER FAMILY DO NOT KNOW EXACTLY WHEN SHE WILL DELIVER."

Q & A (1)

Here I would like to share the story to our readers.

The answer for the question below:

Why Did Caliph Umar Dismissed Khalid Al-Walid as General? Was it because of Jelousy?

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Many agree that the reason remained unknown. And I do too prefer to keep it that way and do not want to jump into any conclusion by assuming what I know not.
At the same time in order to protect Caliph Umar Al-Khattab from being labelled as Jealous, there are source where we can look at and study about it. In fact, Caliph Umar Al-Khattab did mention why he dismissed General Khalid Al-Walid from the army and his post. But people still like to argue about it.

To say Caliph Umar Al-Khattab dismissed Khalid Al Walid due to jealousy, I firmly disagree. And I dare to say that was not the case. Umar Al-Khattab was one of the closest and trusted companion to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. With his knowledge and how he understood the teaching of Islam it is not right to claim that he was jealous of Khalid Al-Walid plus he gained and learn knowledge of Islam directly from our Prophet Al-Kareem. There is no room for feeling such as jealousy in Islam. Literally the meaning of jealousy is big. There are different types of jealousy. There is a type of jealousy (positive) that is accepted by Islam, and there is a type of jealousy (negative) that is prohibited in Islam.

Back to your question, let say if we say that Caliph Umar Al-Khattab removed Khalid Ibn Al-Walid from his post because of jealousy, it will tell us the jealousy of Caliph Umar Al-Khattab is negative which is prohibited in Islam. As a second Caliph and one of the closest and trusted companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he should known better. Therefore to say he was jealous of Khalid Ibn Al-Walid is rubbished.

As the reason still remained unknown it is the best for us not to assume for things we do not know. Allah told us through the book of Quran, do not assume:
O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for the suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it..But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. (Al-Hujurat verse 12)

But the fact, the points below can tell us that jealousy was not the reason why Caliph Umar Al-Khattab dismissed Khalid Ibn Al-Walid from the army.

After Khalid Ibn Al-Walid was dismissed by Caliph Umar Al-Khattab, he visited Madinah and met Caliph Umar Al-Khattab personally. During the meeting it was reported Caliph Umar Al-Khattab giving a tribute to Khalid Ibn Al-Walid:

“You have achieved what no man did ever before, but verily it was through Allah’s help.”
As we know, man can do nothing without the will of Allah. In another word, it meant that no matter how strong and talented Khalid as a warrior, he will not be able to achieve that without the will of Allah.

And also, Caliph Umar Al-Khattab said this to explain his action of dismissing Khalid Al-Walid from his post and the army:

“I have not dismissed Khalid because of my anger or because of any dishonesty on his part, but because people glorified him and were misled. I feared that people would rely on him for victory. I want them to know that it is Allah who does all things; and there should be no mischief in the land.”

And there, that was the reason why he removed him from the army. We all know the character of Khalid Al-Walid, and he was one of the greatest warriors of all time. He is a true warrior who had no fear except one: Allah. He welcomes death and hoping to fall as a Syahid in the battlefield. I have come across very interesting article about Khalid Ibn Al-Walid written by Mr. Himed he said:

“The Duke of Wellington once remarked that “Napoleon’s presence on the battlefield was worth 40,000 men.” It is not an exaggeration to say that Khalid ibn Walid’s presence was worth 100,000 men.

This can tell us, what kind of warrior Khalid is. The enemy were shaken whenever they heard the name of this Noble Warrior, Khalid son of Al-Walid. The Muslims army have more confidence when Khalid is around. They strongly believe Khalid can win them the battle, but they are wrong. As Khalid cannot and will never able to win it except with the will of Allah. It is prohibited in Islam to glorify a human being as it may give a negative impact towards our aqeedah. All glory belongs to Allah and not His creatures. Caliph Umar Al-Khattab try to prevent that to happen by removing Khalid completely from the army. This is very understandable.

To demote Khalid from his post and made him as a lower ranks soldier and name Abu Ubaidah as new commander in chief will not settle the problem as his presence will still be there during the battles. And Muslims army would still depend on him heavily. What’s worst it may breaks the army into 2 groups; 1 group siding with Khalid (as we know Khalid had win many heart of the Muslims by his heroics act. He has large numbers of supporters especially in the army where he was highly respected by the Muslims armies) and the other group siding with new elect Commander In Chief Abu Ubaidah. The army also may reject the leadership of Abu Ubaidah to show their loyalty towards Khalid. As conclusion to retain Khalid in the army would be a disaster. The only way is to remove him from the army completely. With that the Muslims army will be able:

  1. Slowly adapting and accepting the presence of Khalid Al Walid is no longer there and learn not to rely on Khalid Ibn Al Walid in battlefields.
  2. Accepting Abu Ubaidah as their new commander in chief.

Years later, Caliph Umar Al-Khattab took back Khalid Al-Walid into the military.

There are also some who suggest that there are some kind of fierce rivalry between Umar and Khalid. However, there is not enough proof to confirm on this statement. Khalid Al-Walid was a cousin of Caliph Umar and they have fought together side by side for Islam during the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It is understandable for them having the friendly rivalry as both of them are great and respected warriors, but to say they are against each other, is just unacceptable because there is no proof to show they go against each other.

None of them ever makes any negative statements on each other.

"If Abu Bakr is dead and Umar is Caliph, then we hear and obey." - Khalid Al Walid said this after the death of Caliph Abu Bakr.

"Praise be to Allah who took Abu Bakr away. He was dearer to me than Umar. Praise be to Allah who appointed Umar in authority He was hateful to me, but I grew to like him." – Khalid Al-Walid.

When Khalid was on his death bed, Caliph Umar Al-Khattab is also reported to have wished that beside Abu Ubaidah, if Khalid Al-Walid would be alive he would have appointed him as his successor.

Here I would like to remind not only to the person who asked this question but also every Muslims including my self, that it is very important for us not to just simply jump into any conclusion by assuming something that are beyond our knowledge. For whatever it is, it is easier for us to fall into an argument for this matter. But remember this; both of them are the great figure in Islamic history. And Caliph Umar Al-Khattab who was named mentions by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to be among the 10 companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who were promised paradise. As the member of Ashrah Mubashsharah, it is not possible for Caliph Umar Al-Khattab to mistreated Khalid Ibn Al-Walid.

Allah knows best.

The Last Ummah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

If you do not aid the Prophet - Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out [of Makkah] as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, "Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us." And Allah sent down his tranquillity upon him and supported him with angels you did not see and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah - that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
(Al-Quran Surat At-Tawbah, Chapter 9 Verse 40)

Before we get into details, here are the things that we already understand. To make sure the message to be very clear, I have to start with these matters.

Jews - is not a religion. It is a race. Judaism is the religion of Jews. Although majority of them follow Judaism but there are also Muslim Jews and Christians Jews. The thing is Juda-Jews believe they are the followers of Moses. Judaism somehow based very much on the race of Jews. To believe in Judaism the person must be a Jew as Judaism is only for Jewish people.

Christians - It is not based on races. Any race can be Christians as long as they believe Jesus is Son of God / God, believe in Trinity Concept, believe that Jesus died for the sins of the world. Whoever believes in this concept and claimed to be the follower of Jesus - they are Christians. Trinity is the catechism of Christians.

Muslims - Is the one who submit to the will of God. Anyone who is submitting to the will of God and firmly believes God is one, they are Muslims. For every Muslims they must believe in all the prophets that send by Allah that includes Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them all). There are 25 names of Prophets mentioned in the Quran. We must believe in them all. Not Muslim the person is if he or she refuses to.

Here, name of Prophets mentioned in the Quran not only acknowledge us about the names of the righteous Prophets, but also helps us to know the age of time. The beginning starts with Adam and the last will be the time of Muhammad s.a.w (peace be upon them). And Muhammad s.a.w marks the end is near. Which means Qiamat surely will come after the time of Muhammad s.a.w.

By time, Indeed, mankind is in loss, Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. (Al-Quran Surah Al-'Asr Chapter 103 Verse 1-3)

"In this Surah, Allah is making an oath by Al'Asr, by Time. Some scholars, like Malik, say that 'Asr here means the time of the 'Asr prayer. Other says that it means Time through the ages.

Time is one of the creations of Allah. All other creations are affected by time including us. Every day we grow older, every day we come closer to our destiny, to the Day of Reckoning. On that day, everyone will find out through his final account and last Balance Sheet whether he or she is in profit or in loss.

The subject of the oath is that mankind, or Al-Insan is in loss; except those who believe and do righteous deeds. Allah excludes those who believe with all their hearts and do good deeds and also exhort (or urge) one another to Truth and Patience or constancy." - Khutbah by Omar Tarhuni

According to some scholars like Malik, say that the time when the Surah was revealed to Prophet Muhammad s.a.w to indicate that at that time the world was in the time of 'Asr. So if this surah which has been revealed about 1400 years ago, what is the current time of the world today? Maghrib? Could be Isya'. Only Allah knows that.

Back to the main topic, about the Jews claimed themselves as the follower of Moses and Christians claimed themselves as the follower of Jesus (peace be upon them all). How exactly for us to know that? Well, this is how it works.

Muslims are not only the ummah (people) of Muhammad s.a.w. Muslims also can be the ummah of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Lot, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus (peace be upon them all) and so on. These are the righteous prophets selected by Allah Ta'ala to lead every mankind. It’s just all depend which age of time we are living in.

So this is how it works, if you're born and living through times of Adam, then you're the ummah of Adam(pbuh). If someone were born and live during times of Abraham, then they were the ummah of Abraham(pbuh). Same goes with other prophets. When you're born during the time of particular prophet and live through that time then you are the ummah of that particular prophet. Anyone can deny as they want, but fact doesn't lie.

Same case for Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them all). Allah sent a prophet to lead their own nation and tribes. But the last, Muhammad s.a.w was not only sent for the people of Arab, he was sent for all the humanity who living through the times of Muhammad s.a.w. How can we confirm that? Easy, go back to the book. Let see some of the verse we can find in the Quran to confirm this statement.

"We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a universal (Messenger) to men giving them glad tidings and warning them (against sin) but most men understand not"
(Al-Quran Surah Saba' Chapter 34, Verse 28)

"O mankind! Verily, there has come to you the Messenger (Muhammad) with the truth from your Rabb (Sustainer). So believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then certainly to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise"
(Al-Quran Surah An-Nisa Chapter 4, Verse 170)

Islam also firmly tells us that differences of races, gender, and nationality are nothing but only for human recognition. All mankind are equal and same, only good deeds differ one from another. In the Quran again say:

O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.
(Al-Quran Surah Al-Hujurat Chapter 49, Verse 13)

It doesn't matter what races we belong to, or which generation we come from. It is the time when we were born that will indicates us which ummah do we belong to. You can be Jewish, English, American, Chinese, Malay, African, Japanese etc., you can be born as white, black, brown, Caucasian or yellow, you can be born from Muslims, Christians, Jewish, Buddhist, Atheist, Hindu family but as long as you were born during the time of Muhammad s.a.w the fact stands that you are the ummah of Muhammad s.a.w.

Muhammad s.a.w was chosen by Allah Ta'ala to lead all mankind to the right path and Muhammad s.a.w just like the other Righteous Prophets - they are all Muslims which means - the one that submit to the will of God. Allah Ta'ala sent down revelation and guidelines to Muhammad s.a.w so that he can lead mankind by example. Muhammad s.a.w task was bigger to compare with other prophets, and the impacts are greater too. Muhammad s.a.w was sent not only for one nation or tribes but for the whole mankind. As we can see today there are more and more people converting to Islam regardless of their backgrounds. As Muhammad s.a.w is the last prophet, which also means that we are the last ummah.

Islam is a simply way of life and is the true religion. Islam provides solution to any kinds of problems. If anyone would like to live a good life, then take Islam and don’t substitute it with any other rules. By right, which rules are better; rules created by man or by the Creator?

"This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion."
Al-Quran Surah Al-Ma'idah Chapter 5 Verse 3

The Full Verse of Surah Ma'idah 5;3:

"Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

We can consider ourselves lucky to be part of Ummah of Muhammad s.a.w as we were born during the time of Muhammad s.a.w. This is because there are lots of benefits given to the ummah of Muhammad s.a.w.

One day the Messenger was sitting in sadness, then Jibrail A.S (Gabriel) came and asked:

"O Muhammad why are you so sad, but God has given five things that have never given to anyone before you, they are:

1. Allah always hears someone, as long as the person has no doubt in Allah,
2. Who would cover the embarrassment of others, surely Allah will cover the embarrassment of his on the Day of Judgment,
3. The door of repentance remains open until sakaratul maut (last hour) came,
4. Who recites the shahadah, would be forgiven all of his sins even the sins are as big as the size of the earth,
5. Punishment of those who have died can be removed by the prayer of those still living in the world"

Another hadith also reported that Moses (Peace be upon him) while he was at Mount Sinai, he was told about the benefits for ummah of Muhammad s.a.w by Allah Ta'ala. After heard of all the benefits, Moses asked if he can be one of the ummah of Muhammad s.a.w. Allah reject his wish:

"O Moses, I have chosen you to accept my words, so take what I give thee, and thou be among those who are grateful .."

Moses was satisfied and pleased with the answer of Allah Ta'ala.
(Source: Abu Laits a.s Assamarqandi as reported by Sanadnya and Muqatil bin Sulaiman)

Here we can see there are lots of advantages given to us (Ummah of Muhammad a.s) which even Moses (pbuh) as one of the greatest prophets of Allah would like to have. We cannot afford to take things for granted; we must work towards the blessings of Allah. Among all of the prophets, there will be only one of them that will be accepted to be as the Ummah of Muhammad s.a.w and that prophet will be Jesus or better known as Isa Al-Maseeh ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) amongst the Muslims. Jesus (peace be upon him) will be back to this earth to lead the believers to the right path and fights Dajjal and his followers (the unbelievers). And on his second coming, all teachings spread by Jesus (peace be upon him) will not be based upon Gospel or Injil but instead it will be based on the last revelation that Allah has send down to Muhammad s.a.w 1400 years ago: that is Al-Quran.

It is not an option for us to choose which prophet we want to follow. It’s our destiny. But it is for us to choose to obey or to reject.

Moses was born as Jew but his faith made him Muslim. Jesus was born as Jew but his faith made him Muslim. This is because both of them are those who submit to the will of God.

Jews today claimed to be followers and their loyalty towards Moses (pbuh) was down because of racial issues. They cannot accept the idea being the ummah of Muhammad s.a.w since Muhammad s.a.w was not a Jew but an Arab. According to Jewish beliefs, they – the Jews are the best of the best people. And they labelled non-Jews as Goyim - unclean people. Therefore they don't like the idea to be followers of Non-Jews. So they deny Muhammad s.a.w and claimed to be the followers of Moses (pbuh).

Christians today chose to be followers of Jesus (pbuh) is because the idea of Jesus had died for their sins, therefore as long as they believe in Jesus as God / Son of God, no matter what sins they have committed they will be still heading towards Heaven. Easy as A B C. No need to work hard to earn themselves a spot in heaven. This idea is so good to be true and indeed, it is a very good deal for them. Who doesn’t want to go to heaven? And here Christianity offers the simplest way, just believe and you will earn your spot. They reject Muhammad s.a.w and labelled him as false prophet and blindly claimed to be the followers of Jesus Christ. Astagafirullah. The fact is they - Christians today, are not the ummah of Jesus since they were born during time of Muhammad s.a.w.

Al-Quran was not written by Muhammad s.a.w. but he received the revelation from Allah Ta'ala through arch-angel Jibrail a.s (Gabriel). And Muhammad s.a.w is the last messenger of Allah. And we today are all belongs to the ummah of Muhammad s.a.w which makes us the last ummah regardless which nation or tribes we came from.

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Everyone of my Ummah will enter Jannah except those who refuse.” He was asked: “Who will refuse?” He (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever obeys me shall enter Jannah, and whosoever disobeys me refuses to (enter Jannah).” [Sahih Bukhari]

Allah knows best.

Al-Quran Surah Al-Baqarah, Chapter 2 Verse 183

O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may become Al-Muttaqun.

Revive the Sunnah: Tarawih

Narrated Abu Salama bin ‘Abdur Rahman: that he asked ‘Aisha “How was the prayer of Allah’s Apostle in Ramadan?” She replied, “He did not pray more than eleven Rakat in Ramadan or in any other month. He used to pray four Rakat —— let alone their beauty and length——and then he would pray four ——let alone their beauty and length ——and then he would pray three Rakat (Witr).” She added, “I asked, ‘O Allah’s Apostle! Do you sleep before praying the Witr?’ He replied, ‘O ‘Aisha! My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.”

Islam for ALL

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

49:13
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Intellectual War

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
It bothers me, every time I go to the internet whenever I type ‘Muslims’ or ‘Islam’ most of the results will show about the terrorism and the scary demonstration held by the Muslims which usually giving a bad image to Islam. It seems that Islam has been associates with these acts. In fact it is not fair that Islam to be judge by these individuals. At the same time, we understand some of our brothers are desperate after being pressed by the certain countries policy and law which do not do any favour for our Muslims brothers and sisters outside there. With little choice to voice out their disappointment, could lead them to the terrorism and demonstration act - which does not portray the real teaching of Islam.

There are many ways of how to keep us together and stronger. Not every Muslims would like to be part of terrorist and demonstration act, since it was not the way to fight the non-believers who try to keep pressing us down.
The non-believers will not fear with any of these acts. In fact, we actually were falling into their trap. This act will not bring any justice. And it is not part of Islamic teaching.

At this point we need to go back to the book (Holy Al-Quran) what did Allah tells us how to face the Non-Believers. Okay, if at one point where the Non-Believers call for open fight or war, which will be the time every single Muslims answer for that challenge. Join every brothers, stand side by side and fight in the name of Allah. Even there is guidance how to behave during war such as no killing the innocents, children, women, old folks. And stop immediately if the opponents surrender. Verily, Allah hates transgressors. So when the enemy put up the white flag, stop immediately. And how do we treat the war prisoners? Allah tells us to feed them and do not hurt any of them. Spread the message of Islam and if they still against, kick them out of the country and tell them do not come back. Simple. We give them only two option; Accept Islam or pay Jizya. This is how we fight. Islam is all about mercy and peace.

So lets get back to the topic, how to fight the Non-Believers when they don’t call for a war? There are many verses in Quran tell us how to deal with the non-believers, such as the ayat from Surah Al-Qalam (Chapter 68) verse 44-45:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong.
(Al-Quran Surah Al-Qalam, Verse 44-45)

Referring to the verses mentioned above, Allah tell us to let them (the non-believers), and leave that matter to Allah.
So what else we got to do? This is the hardest part, because as human we cannot always be patience. Once we follow our anger and emotion then that is when we fall into the trap of Non-Believers. We feel bad if we don’t respond. We must respond but the question is how do we respond? Kill them? Held big demonstration and make noise? No, that is not how we should respond. First, to respond we have to be patience, and Allah loves those who are patience. How to keep ourselves from being angry and losing our patience? The only way is by remembering Allah.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
 (Surah Adh-Dhariyat, Chapter 51 Verse 56)

The reason Allah create Jinn and Mankind is to worship Him. So at anytime, bad or good pray to Allah and He will lead us to the truth, Insya Allah.
The conclusion is, the Non-Believers will not fear us when we angry, but the will fear those who remained calm when they should have been angry. They will fear this.

They will fear when every masjid to be fully packed by Jemaah who come to perform Solat Fardhu 5 times a day. This act, will show them no matter what they try to do (destroy the masjid or pressing the Muslim by banning Muslims to practice any Islam law and so on) we stood still shoulder to shoulder going to Masjid to perform our duty to Allah Ta’ala. They can press us down, but they will not able to stop us performing our duties. This act will show them we have no fear in any kind of their act but only fear Allah.

At the same time we will be able to open up their mind, to see the truth. If every single Muslims can commit to this act (solat Jemaah) the Non-Believers will start to think, ‘what they got in their mind?’ And when they start to questioned that to themselves, they will be moving closer to find the true teaching of Islam and the beauty of it.

Not to forget, that Da’wah is one of our main responsibilities. And Da’wah are not only limited to speech. Da’wah doesn’t stop there. It also can be in the form of action. By reflecting the true image of Islam in our behaviour is also another method of Da’wah.

Coming Soon . . . Insya Allah

Let's Do Da'wah

Mightee Da'wah Project

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

Project Overview:

A Da’wah project via T-Shirt, where we going to produce T-shirts carrying Islamic messages. We came up with this idea sometimes ago after seeing so many youngster nowadays are more attracted towards t-shirt carrying offensive images & messages. We understood - people got attracted towards those t-shirts because they find them ‘cool’, ‘unique’ and ‘free’.

We believe this non-sense must be stopped. Therefore, insya Allah with Mightee Da’wah Project we can bring the Ummah together and give them opportunity to wear cool and unique t-shirts carrying Islamic messages which also will give them the opportunity to do Da’wah at the same time. Da’wah is not only limited to books and speeches, it also can be performed in many ways.

Let’s carry the torch, Let’s keep the flame burning.

Insya Allah, we shall post up our products as soon as possible.
